Meet Giselle, (B.sc, M.A.C.P)

Giselle specializes in supporting neurodivergent adults and older teens navigating the challenges of ADHD, autism, trauma, anxiety, and burnout. As someone who has lived experience of both autism and ADHD herself, she brings the unique combination of lived experience and professional expertise, creating a space where clients don’t need to mask, over-explain, or feel “too much” to be understood.

She often works with people who feel overwhelmed and those who may be struggling to navigate relationships, self-understanding, or everyday challenges. Many of her clients describe feeling stuck in patterns of self-doubt, emotional intensity, or disconnection from others. Her role is to walk alongside them, helping to make sense of these experiences while creating space for growth, healing, and self-acceptance.

Her work focuses on supporting clients through childhood and complex trauma, sensory overwhelm, identity confusion, grief, and relational struggles. She is especially passionate about working with clients who may feel different or misunderstood, offering therapy that unfolds at each person’s pace—with curiosity, honesty, and compassion.

Giselle draws from CBT, DBT, and IFS-informed psychotherapy, and other evidence-based tools, always tailoring therapy to meet each client’s unique needs and the way their mind processes and heals. Her goal is to help clients unlearn survival strategies that no longer serve them and build a steadier, more authentic relationship with themselves.

She especially loves working with clients who are:

  • Neurodivergent (ADHD and autism, diagnosed or self-identified)

  • Managing childhood or complex trauma

  • Facing burnout, sensory overload, or anxiety loops

  • Exploring identity, gender, culture, and belonging

  • Healing from grief, loss, or relationship struggles

Born in Syria and now based in Canada, Giselle’s immigrant journey deeply shaped the compassion and cultural awareness she brings to her work. Outside of therapy, she is a gamer at heart, drawn to imaginative worlds that reflect her curiosity and creativity. With a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, she brings both scientific curiosityy and lived understanding to the therapy room.

For clients seeking a therapist who truly “gets it,” Giselle offers a therapeutic relationship rooted in authenticity, insight, and genuine connection.
