Meet Kamil

Kamil is in the final stages of completing his Master’s in Counselling Psychology and is currently practicing under the supervision of our clinic owner, Kulsoom Malik.

What makes Kamil unique is his background in Aristotelian logic and philosophy, which adds a thoughtful and values-based layer to the way he approaches mental health. In sessions, he uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and somatic techniques that bring attention to the powerful connection between mind and body. Kamil loves exploring how we communicate, how we connect with ourselves and others, and how small shifts in these patterns can open the door to healthier, more authentic relationships.

Outside of therapy, Kamil is a Kingston local who grew up loving nature and the outdoors. He’s an avid camper who finds that time in nature offers fresh perspective and a sense of renewal—something he often weaves into his work. His years of playing rugby taught him resilience, teamwork, and the importance of showing up even when life feels tough—values he carries into the therapy room.
