Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. We provide online therapy to clients located throughout Ontario, along with in-person psychotherapy and counselling in Kingston. Online appointments can also make it easier to continue working with your therapist when coming into the clinic isn’t practical.
-
Our fees vary depending on the clinician and service you choose. We also offer an Accessible Therapy Programme with supervised psychotherapists in training, with sessions currently starting at $99.
If cost is a concern, ask us about available options during your free consultation.
-
Many extended health benefit plans include coverage for therapy, but your coverage will depend on your individual plan and the type of mental health professional it covers.
We offer direct billing where available. We also recommend checking your plan before your first appointment so you know which professional designations are eligible and whether your insurer has any coverage limits or requirements.
-
Your free 15-minute consultation gives you a chance to tell us what you’re looking for, ask questions, and learn more about your therapy options. You will speak directly with a therapist during your consultation, never a receptionist. That means you won’t need to share a difficult story again and again just to be connected with someone who can help.
If you aren’t sure which therapist is right for you, we can also help you find someone whose experience and approach align with what you want to work on.
-
We know that when you’re ready to get support, you may not want to wait weeks to begin. We aim to have you in the clinic within one week, depending on therapist availability, your scheduling needs, and the type of support you’re looking for.
You can start by booking a free consultation and checking current availability.
