Marta Bonati-Registered Psychotherapist - Online

Many of the people Marta works with carry quiet, painful beliefs about themselves, thoughts like “I’m not good enough,” “Everyone else seems to be managing better than I am”, or “Something is wrong with me”. Marta also meets people who feel the weight of time: the sense that it’s “too late,” that change isn’t possible anymore, or that their situation is fixed.

These beliefs can feel so familiar that they start to seem true.

Marta is interested in the subtle ways we learn to flatten ourselves to fit in — to tone down our needs, silence our instincts, and shape ourselves around what society says we should be. Many of us end up believing that we’re fundamentally wrong in some way, or that our uniqueness is inconvenient. These quiet narratives can make life feel smaller, tighter, and lonelier than it needs to be.

Marta offers a space where these beliefs can be named, explored, and softened. Her approach is warm, relational, and psychodynamic. She believes in slowing down, making space for what’s already here, and exploring the deeper patterns that shape how you feel, relate, and move through the world.

Do you have a story worth hearing and strengths worth recognizing. Let’s explore them together with compassion
