Erin’s Specialties

  • Erin offers Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to support individuals healing from trauma in a structured, gentle, and effective way. ART uses guided eye movements to help the brain process difficult or distressing experiences, reducing the emotional intensity attached to them. One of the unique aspects of ART is that clients do not need to share detailed descriptions of their experiences in order for the therapy to be effective. Many people find this approach supportive when talking about the past feels overwhelming. Through ART, clients often experience relief from trauma-related symptoms, feel more grounded in their daily lives, and gain a renewed sense of control and clarity as they move forward.

  • Erin supports clients in processing traumatic experiences and reducing the emotional and physical distress that can follow trauma. She uses trauma-focused approaches such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help the brain reprocess difficult memories in a way that feels structured, gentle, and effective. This work can support relief from symptoms such as hypervigilance, emotional overwhelm, intrusive memories, and feeling stuck in the past. Erin’s approach emphasizes healing, resilience, and post-traumatic growth—helping clients regain a sense of safety, stability, and forward momentum.

  • Chronic stress and burnout can leave individuals feeling exhausted, disconnected, and overwhelmed. Erin works with clients navigating high levels of pressure—whether related to work, school, caregiving, or life demands—to better understand the impact of stress on both mind and body. Drawing on her background in physical education and mental health, she helps clients develop practical coping strategies, restore balance, and build sustainable routines that support well-being and resilience.

  • Erin supports individuals experiencing anxiety, excessive worry, panic, and nervous system dysregulation. Together, clients learn to understand the underlying drivers of anxiety and how it shows up in their thoughts, emotions, and body. Erin helps clients build emotional regulation skills, increase tolerance for uncertainty, and develop tools that foster calm, confidence, and resilience in daily life changes, or periods of personal growth can challenge one’s sense of stability and identity. Laura understands that even positive changes can feel overwhelming and may bring up complex emotions.

Laura offers a supportive, collaborative space where individuals, teens, couples, and families can explore the emotional impact of life transitions at their own pace. Using a strength-based and person-centered approach, she helps clients reflect on past experiences, clarify values, and build practical coping strategies to navigate change with greater confidence and self-compassion. Therapy supports clients in managing anxiety, low mood, or emotional uncertainty while fostering resilience and adaptability.

With over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families through change, Laura integrates evidence-based approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, psychoeducation, and solution-focused strategies. Together, Laura and her clients co-create a roadmap that honours where they have been and supports meaningful growth, clarity, and connection as they move forward.

  • For individuals experiencing low mood, loss of motivation, emotional heaviness, or feeling disconnected from themselves or others, Erin offers a compassionate and supportive therapeutic space. She works collaboratively with clients to build insight, stabilize mood, and identify meaningful steps toward change. Therapy focuses on understanding emotional patterns, strengthening coping strategies, and supporting gradual, sustainable improvements in well-being.

  • Life transitions—such as career changes, relationship shifts, identity exploration, or changes in roles and responsibilities—can feel destabilizing and emotionally complex. Erin helps clients navigate these transitions with clarity and support, exploring both the challenges and opportunities that change can bring. Her work fosters confidence, adaptability, and self-understanding, helping clients move through transitions feeling more grounded and aligned with their goals.
